Entre Prises Climbing Walls and USA Climbing announced today that they are collaborating to bring a new bouldering wall to the ABS 13 National Championships. The event will be held on February 24/ 25 and March 2/3/4 in Colorado Springs, CO at the Colorado Springs City Auditorium. Competition climbing is continuing to grow here in the United States and we continue to support these athletes as they showcase their talent. USA Climbing and Entre Prises have been working together for the past few months to come up with a concept that will excite competitors. The design is based on simple shapes that will give route-setters a great canvas to work with.
“Entre Prises is helping USA Climbing achieve its goal of bringing our marquee events into non-traditional venues by providing a system that is functional, aesthetic, and easy to set up. The short term and long term viability of competition climbing is much stronger thanks to EP.” Kynan Waggoner, Operations Director, USA Climbing
The 2012 ABS National Championships will mark the thirteenth season of national competition for USA Climbing’s American Bouldering Series. More than 600 talented athletes will vie for national titles in the Open, Youth, Citizens’ and Team events in the nation’s most prestigious bouldering competition. This event will also select the U.S. National Bouldering Team that will represent the United States at the 2012 International Federation of Sport Climbing World Championships in Paris, France.
